i got curious about this back in oct when we had a light dusting of snow. how well does the sirius radio work if its snowing. im assuming if snow lays on the atenna your outta luck for reception but what if its just snowing heavy but not sticking?

Any interference with the line of sight to the sat is gonna degrade the signal. Luckily snow is not a huge issue. If it's covered in snow it won't be as good as if it's just wet. Coated with ice really sucks.

I have sirrius radio and have had snow on my antenna.. it still works well too.. my Sat Radio in the garage has the antenna on the shed in the back yard and that has about 2 ft of snow on it right now, no issues.

It seems snow doesn't affect the signal hardly at all....
