Size of Nerf Bars

Hey all..My 2011 Sport (still in Signature Pict) was totaled few weeks back and I just got my 2015 Sport QC. Looking for nerf bars. I see many thread on these and I'm wondering about size 3 in , 4 in etc for a big guy. I'm bout 265 and wondering if I should get bigger. My 2011 at the dealer installed. 4 in I believe. Thanks!

I have the Raptor 4" Oval Nerf Bars in chrome. I'm a big guy as well and these are rated to 500 lbs. Have had them for about 15 months and no problems.
