I proceeded to order new seals that are supposed to be OEM mopar off ****** bay. they arrived in a nice unmarked box with an instruction sheet that is barely readable. the only identification on them is the orange tape covering that says made in Canada with a January date code so i'm no 100% sure of their origin. Like a D/ass I didn 't take pic's as thought it should be self explanatory WRONG !~!!
But I did proceed to remove the old seals and adhesive (fun Job).
I proceed to test fit the new seals without removing the orange tape protector.
I noted the vertical seals appear short BUT are the same length as those removed,. They do cover the opening top to bottom but without much overlap
I also noted the horizontal seals are a bit longer.
Due to not taking pictures and doing such a thorough job of cleaning I'm questioning
the length and positioning of the Vertical seals on the stationary glass.

i watched several YouTube HACKS doing things that made me shudder and glad I did not take it to one.
has anyone gone down this road or know where information can be found? I am able to BARELY see where the vertical adhesive was. I can reference that as a last resort but was hoping for more info as at 100.00+ for the Kit I really don't want to have to buy another one.
TIA :favorites13:

Those are hi -tech compared to this,
FFW to ~ 6:50 - 9 Minutes
Then again ~ 10 minutes to 11 +
And finally ~ 12:00

Actually, believe it or not I spent several hours on you tube searching google, forums etc. and came up with ZERO. I do try before posting as I do not want to be a nuisance here. I've also read of people having issues with dealers repeatedly trying to fix the issue. the lack of information along with technique's like "BOB" used may be why
BTW were you able to stomach your way through everything the guy did? thee second time I watched it to get the FFW times I about :doublepuke:as some one is paying this J/O for that :superhack: level of work
this forum has been a great help to me and I try to contribute when I can
