Snow chains ?????

Does anyone have issues with snow chains on 2018 1500. I’m hearing cables only. Chains on some models. Nothing i can find in the manual.
Any help should confuse me more.
Dealer is next I guess.

They require limited clearance, Class S rated I believe. It’s better if you have swapped rims/tires to a smaller diameter like 17 instead of 20’s. But I know the brake line/abs sensor location is an issue, I am not of fan of how they are routed so close to the tire/wheel.

I have a set of semi chains cut down to fit. The kind that have the studs built into the chain. I had a bit of rubbing on the inner fender on the rear but I'm also running 13 wide tires. I just heated the fender up and pushed it in to clear. They work friggen great!
