What are the rumored cosmetic changes? I have only heard about the new tech.

Keep hearing the HD trucks are taking on the half ton appearance which I like, Hood vents and such.

Not sure what to do here. I am coming off a lease on my '18 BMW 5 series in December, but since my dealer sells both BMW and Dodge, they are willing to let me out early without penalty as of mid-August.

They have a the exact truck I want (minus the Ram boxes - jury still out on that) and they are offering like 10k off sticker, plus sell at invoice. My dilemma is, I won't lease this one. I'll buy and keep for several years, so I don't want to jump on this and wish I would have waited for the '21, as they are upgrading the Uconnect to the version 5, which offers a lot more in terms of tech - namely, wireless Apple Play, among other niceties.

So, I realize this is my decision, but any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Brad

Do you really want Generation 5? I'd think twice about it.

Google search and spy shots claim 2021.
I do not believe you will see any changes for MY2021.

What are you seeing in your google search that I am missing.

The RAM HeavyDuty already got the 5th Gen styling and a new frame. It just is still using the 4th Gen cab and bed.

Very curious if I missed something.

With classic still going for 2021 and quite possibly 2022...i don't think you will see the next generation HeavyDuty for awhile.

Would sure like to be wrong though

Well, too late for that advice - I already placed my order. But curious what you don't like about the Gen 5 trucks...?

Are you referring to the TRX that's been running around in camo for a while? That's the only 2021 product I've seen that's under wraps, nothing for the HDs themselves.

Cool. The guy i thought you responded to is waiting for the full redesign...which is also what we thought you were alluding too.

Curious what the grille change is. The headlights...they change them all the time.

I am holding off to see if RAM puts a new BGE into the HeavyDuty...or just gives the 6.4/8spd combo a good power bump.

The only thing is see are the old articles for the current truck...which came in 2019 instead of 2021 and then the TRX.

Wow the one article says the 5.7 l will return to the 2500...click bait article. It left in 2019 which is the story they are regurgitating.

That was the latest article is see. His info is completely wrong through the whole article. It is set up like new info...but is the stuff we got with the 2019 2500/3500.

Awesome. Love reporters who do not even know the facts to atleast keep us in suspense

I just read an article that says the Classic is sticking around for 2021 also.

Love your BMW! What model 5 series is it?
Thanks, I love it too!

It's the 530e. Yea, I know... a hybrid that looks like a race car? But, I actually love it. The e has incredible torque off the line, and performs way better than I was expecting. My previous 5's had the inline 6 and I loved those as well. I'm not an aggressive driver, so this was a perfect match for me. But now, I'm ready to move back to my roots, witch is a truck.
