yep. parked on the street at the gf's apartment, guy next door was doing work on his house, and both my truck and the gf's car downwind got covered in a mist of clear coat overspray.

luckily got it all off. caught it early enough where it didnt really bake on yet. took the oportunity to do a full detail since id be working to get it off....

mixed up some dish soap with the regular carwash soap, and washed with a mr clean sponge. then rewashed with regular sponge.

after that i took a nanofoam pad on a buffer and went to town, left the soap and suds on the truck and used quick detailer to keep things slick.

used some wolfs deironizer to get some of the tiny rust specks off from brake dust.

then washed again.

next step i used some 3m medium-fine and hand buffed the truck.

finally hand waxed the truck with some meguires gold class.

did i mention i also buffed and waxed the door jambs too? lol.

(btw we also did the same for the gf's car, but not as extensively. my truck blocked most of it from hitting her car)

i shouldve taken more then one picture.....

i need to find some cheap spindles and make this 2/4 drop a 4/6 drop. ha.

Looks great, i would just lower the back to match the front drop. Some aftermarket 22's, plasti dip front/rear Ram logos and colormatch the door handles.

Nice lookin truck! A co-worker just had an issue like this on his PowerWagon.
Neighbor sprayed his deck with some sealer, ignoring entirely the over-spray which landed on said coworkers truck. Who was out of town for a week.

Came home to a nicely baked on vapor mess. Poor guy.

Good Job... similar thing happened to me recently but like you caught it early... my wife and her friend decided to spray paint out step rungs white in the back yard... Women!

Anyway I just washed good and then Fukken Waxed it. For the spots that didnt come of with the waxing I used a claybar, that takes them right off. be sure you keep the clay nice and wet or it will scratch.

Glad to see you got the issue resolved. Sure is nice how some folks dont take into consideration how spraying outside (house, deck , etc) that it MIGHT get all over peoples car. Heck if I were to think about doing that, id cover all my neighbors cars for them to make sure they were protected...but thats just me! :)
