havin a bit of trouble with my truck, while driving my truck ether at a consistent speed or accelerating the RPM will jump up 100-300, at the same time it feels as if the truck looses power.
any ideas would be helpful.

on a side not i had the TPS replaced with a new one about 3 weeks ago, No engine Codes.

first 2 thoughts in my book are missing cyls... or tps gummed or going bad.

Start with a comp test, but chances are the torq converter is going south.

i had the tps replaced about 3 weeks ago or so. thx for the info ill check out the torq converter at this point.

Sorry i also fail to mention that it is not throwing any engine codes.

Doesn't mean much, it takes a lot for these PCMs to trip a miss code.
