Basically it is something to fool the computer. The drive by wire we have in our trucks has set parameters. From what I understand the sprint boost allows your truck to think the pedal is pressed further down than it actually is allowing for you to reach wide open throttle faster. Least this is my impression. Some one with more knowledge on this than me will chime is soon no doubt

That's exactly what it does. It shortens the throttle curve.

No, just adjusts the sensitivity and positioning of the throttle.

I have diablosport (predator) and superchips (flashpaq 3865) but i only can boost the TB sensitivity with the diablo tuner, this option is not available on superchips tuner.

The Sprint Booster changes the ramp of the signal from the pedal to the computer. It makes it more aggressive.

There are two settings: mild and more aggressive.

I've installed them on Corvettes and a Camaro. In my opinion, these cars have sluggish response to throttle input, what I call a lazy throttle. The Sprint Boosters made a real, noticeable difference. There's no performance gain, but the cars felt more responsive.

Some cars seem to need them more than others. I haven't made up my mind about my new Ram truck yet.
