Driving home last night from dropping off my daughter. was coming out of a turn, had let off the gas so i gave it a little just to pick speed back up and the whole truck starts shaking. let off gas step back on, same thing. check engine light starts to blink so i start to slow down and pull over. get to a stop, check engine light had stopped blinking and had gone out. pushed gas to accelerate and truck ran fine. didn't do it anymore last night at all. First and only time its over done that.

Was also wondering about the plugs. Get gas recently? Wonder if it could be a bad tank?

They need to he changed, just haven't had time to. Worried it was a trans problem.

Might have been some bad fuel, what happened was the plugs starting having issues from the fuel and the shaking you was feeling was from the convertor. I know the feeling, when mine dropped a cylinder and I limped it home it felt like the truck was gonna rip itselft in two.

Your headlights blink at all?? TIPM, o6 only, Plugs usually last a long time, but the symptoms seem too point too plugs, they are cheap, but you'll blow the better part of the day r/r 'ing them. Have a dealer check onthe TIPM, if ya can get it done on the cheap.My dealer will charge me ,but shave that cost off the repairs if needed.

Just changed the plugs.... there are too many sharp objects under the hood of these things lol. odd thing when after change, the exhaust leak is gone...... i changed the plugs the last time and know i tightened em down good but some of them were loose when removing.

Might just need to reset the pcm so it will adapt to the new plugs.
Or I should say un-adapt to the bad plugs possibly leaking plugs
ignition off
pull fuse 31 (on an 06)
click seat belt in
close door
turn key to on wait for any beeping to stop
turn and hold key on start (it won't start) till it beeps once then once again.
turn off key
put in fuse
and she's reset and ready to go.
