So I put my spare tire under the bed where the spare goes! There’s an inch of clearance between my 35/12.5-18 mud tire and the tailpipes. I’m hoping that’s enough! I may change to a 3” single exit in front of the right rear tire after Christmas.8705e11b8f5db17321ae6d1d1eeb40fe.jpg

Do you need the spare? After i switched to 37s i got rid of my spare, i don't foresee myself swapping 37s on the side of the road.

Did you use the spare wheel or purchase an aftermarket wheel? I really want to put 35's on my spare as that is when I have on the truck just want to make sure they fit on the stock spare wheel and in the spare wheel location.

Hard part with an aftermarket wheel in the spare location is the hanger, it will fit through thin (stamped steel) wheel hub openings but not thicker cast/machined wheel hub openings.

Thanks for that information. I have the 17 inch Steel wheel, I am thinking of just putting a 35x12.5R17 tire on it.

You might have difficulty finding a tire shop that will mount a 12.5" wide tire on a 7" wide wheel.

And it would be all but useless except for a spare.
A better option might be

LT275/80R17 @ 34.3" tall

Or
a 35x11.5x17 @ 34.5" tall

or a larger diameter spare wheel.

Ah, Kurek I must inform you that you are incorrect sir. I have a factory 18 inch aluminum rim wrapped by a 35 12.5 Falken M/T up under my truck.

AS long as that metal piece functions as it should with the Center Bore of the Rim ( Center Bore is the cut out area in the center of the Rim )
A person could remove that plate from the end of the cable, then design their own mechanism.

That would leave the space between the exhaust, where the tire/rim combo is mounted

You can see how the exhaust fits around tire, & of course if you have a Hitch Receiver, that also restricts the space
