I have 14 2500 tradesman 5.7 hemi 4wd. recently put 35s on it. I need to get the speedometer calibrated on it show it has the right shift points.

The only calibrator I'm finding is the hypertech 752501. Are there any others, this is the only one I'm finding for the 2500 hemi. I'm wanting to stay at or under 200 bucks.

I'd recommend alphaobd ($50) from the play store. If you have a android device you can save yourself another $50. And I'd suggest obdlink mx(+) ~$70 I'm not a 100% sure but you may be able to use a elm327 obd2 reader also (~$15).

Along with changing tires size you can do just about anything a dealer can for adding oem parts or enabling oem features

I love this mod but I do recommend going over to the DIY thread and checking out that thread. It's a lot of knowledge that you can pick through to find your needs.

AlfaOBD with only the OBDLink MX choosing either Android or Windows is the way to go. You will be able to do sooooo much with it you'll be amazed.
If you do go that way just remember to follow the instruction in the AlfaOBD thread and upload a BCM log copy before you do anything.

Alpha OBD and a cheap ELM obd adapter and you can change it all you want.

I got a cheap ELM obd with AlfaOBD $64 total. Changed all my lights to led, rear camera add, brake controller, and speedo calibration. So far everything works great 2014 1500 bighorn

Sorry didn't read your response here good enough first.
If I update the tires with alphaobd will it also fix the shift points like a programmer does.

Ordered a cheap one this morning. Hopefully it works, if not I'll be getting the good one. I see there's a free version of alphaobd. I know the paid version gets you full access, but what's the main difference?

I believe you can't make any configuration changes with the free / trial version. All you can do is "view" settings, not change them.

That's what I figured. Either way it's cheaper than going to the dealer
