ive got a 2004 ram with the factory plastic bed liner in it. and im lookin to replace it with a spray in or d.i.y. roll on. i know that a linex or rhino liner is gonna be around 500 to have done and i am trying to do it a lil cheaper than that. has anyone used the dupli-color roll on liner? and if so whats the durability of it?

It's good for a while, but then it fades out. And it gets damaged easily.

i have only ever used a bedrug in all of my pickups. if you are ever going to haul anything that you dont want rubbing on the cement-like texture of a spray in, this is the way to go.

i was always under the impression bedrugs werent durable and you couldnt put mulch, dirt, gravel, or whatnot in it. i was completely wrong. you can use a bedrug for anything you can use any other liner for. they spray out with a hose.

Try to sway away from a roll on bedliner...they will look good for about a year (or less) then fade really bad. By the time you redo it every year, you will end of spending what you THOUGHT you were gonna save by rolling it on rather than having LineX do it.

yeah i was afraid that the roll on sounded a lil too good to be true. i just hate plastic liners cause i know first hand from my 76 chevy dualie that water gets trapped under the liner and rusts your bed out. I appreciate all in the input

I'd go with LineX. I'm sure theres dealers near you. I have spray in from the factory. I hope it last long time. Doesn't seem as thick as the lineX setup.

Defiantly line-x guaranteed for life! My dealer just fixed a small knick that came off without so much as a question! Also, pay the extra 50 for the sun protection if you like the color, wish I had mine is fading and I'm a black on white guy, not black on grey :(
