Ok guys, take it easy on me, I'm a new truck guy.
I have a squeak in my rear right wheel that is driving me crazy. My truck sounds so ***** as I am rolling down the road.

I've got a 2014 Express with about 13,000 miles.
I have also taken the truck into the dealership and they told me the following:
"noise goes away when the caliper is removed from the wheel and driving, comes back when put back on. Not causing any problems, don't really want to replace the brake pads because there is so much pad left, just rubbing while driving."

I hear it more when I'm light on the pedal, not when pushing the gas, more so in the 25-40 mph range, but will hear it other times.

The dealer wasn't willing to do anything, since it is the brakes sure it isn't something under warranty, wondering what to do, or if there is possibly something else going on?

I'd tell them to **** off and put pads on it, there's obviously a problem with the brake on that corner lol

Brakes aren't covered under warranty very often. Might be time for new brakes (though the rears wearing out before the fronts would be strange) or a rotor just needs trued. Take it to Midas, et all, and get a diagnosis for free.

Hi spielerman,

The brakes are covered under a 12 month, 12K mile warranty, so you're outside of that warranty time period, unfortunately. If you want to do a replacement, however, the dealership should accommodate you. Let me know if you need me to do any follow up.
