SRT8 6.1 manifolds

I've looked and found some answers but they were a little hazy on the answer and I'm hoping somebody can me....I can get a set of 6.1 exhaust manifolds for pretty cheap and no I don't want shorty headers right now/saving for LT's down the road...I just want to make sure the collectors on the exhaust manifolds will bolt up to our down pipes on our trucks, anybody know if it will or require some fabbing?

The only 6.1L manifold you can use on the truck is the Grand Cherokee manifolds, the car manifolds won't fit. You will need to get a mid pipe made for the GCSRT8 manifolds as they don't bolt directly into place like a set of shortie headers would.

Well shoot...maybe it won't be cheaper than shorties in the long run. Thanks man.
