Stabilizer Bar or Sway Link Bar? What is it's correct name?

I am new on this forum. Actually I'm new on any forums.
On January 3, 2023 I purchased a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 With 110,000 miles on it.
I took possession of this Truck on February 23, 2023 It needed some front end work in order to pass Md.
State inspection. The dealership did $3700 worth of work at no cost to me. Not all of the $3700 worth of work was to the front end.
I recently took My truck in for a Front End Alignment. I chose A Goodyear Facility, because they were very close.
I was told that the Mechanic Resecured Stabilizer Link Bar with Bolts. For this I was charged $180.00
Does this sound right? I had been without transportation for the past 30 years and I really wanted a Dodge ram 1500.
So I saved all of the stimulus money that the government gave out and added some more cash. That is how I was able to afford this truck.
My question is this...Do these bolts need to be already be in place when doing a Front End Alignment?

Stabilizer bar and Sway bar are just different names for the same part. There is also a stabilizer link - you know, this short video will explain it:

EDIT - By the way, you have a nice looking truck!

The front stabilizer bar has no effect on performing a and front end alignment.
You can even drive the vehicle if it's broken or missing but it's not recommended to do so and should be repaired as soon as possible. Vehicle handling can be effected without a properly functioning front stabilizer (sway) bar.

Front and rear sway-bars both reduce body roll in corners. The front one reduces front dive toward the outside of the turn, especially during breaking. The rear bar reduces roll and side to side shift.

The way you describe the $180 repair….it seems as if the Goodyear place discovered “missing bolts” and “Resecured” by replacing the missing bolts.
IF that is the case…the selling dealer should reimburse you, IMO.
