So my truck had been stalling out lately and is becoming more frequently doing so.
Could it be the air filter? Maybe fuel filter?
Haven't changed either since I bought it chittagong years ago.
It's a 2003 5.7 2500.

Sounds like your gonna need a complete tune-up if nothing has been done since you bought it " years ago

Have the plugs been replaced?
Throttle body cleaned ?

Could be as simple as a vacuum leak.

Stalling and loss of power often points at the fuel pump. Being a 03 I would also do a compression check as the valve springs can also be an issue. High tension waste spark wires break down along with normal spark plug wear. Inlet air filter and TB also require occassional maintenance.

My '08 1500 5.7 stalls out at every stop, almost, once it's been topped off. Has done that for as long as I can remember. I've long suspected it's been the fuel pump, but it only ever does it right after a top off. After about 5 miles, it's fine and doesnt so much as flutter.

Interesting, if it is fill up only related. I suspect it the purge valve sucking a bit of fuel when the tank is filled to its top. You could check this by disconnecting the smaller of the two vacuum lines on the driver's side behind the TB.
