Ram1500 hemi 2021 with start/stop does it Have A regular starter+the generator starter if one goes out?

If you have the e-torque, no, the e-torque motor IS the starter. As I sunderstand the system (I don't have one) when starting from a stop, it's running strictly on the e-torque motor to get you going while starting the engine back up. Interesting system, but I haven't heard that it really improves mpg.

Cold start, you are using the starter. Anytime the ASS (Auto-Start/Stop) is activated, the Etrq motor is doing the starting and the initial movement from a dead stop.
