Has anyone noticed a longer crank time when starting after sitting?

When I first got this truck it would instantly fire when I turned the key. Now, especially on the first start in the morning, it cranks a few times before it will fire.
It's only 6 months old and ~4300 miles. The speed of the crank seems to be the same but it just takes longer for the engine to fire.

I try to give the fuel system time to pressure up before I turn the key to "Start".

That happened and got progressively worse for about a year before I figured it out on my '00 Chevy 3/4 ton 6.0. Fuel pump had good pressure when it was running, but it would leak down when it wasn't running. So, I changed the fuel pressure regulator because that is a common issue on them. No change. The problem turned out to be the check valve inside the fuel pump. The spring was weak and could not hold the pressure without the pump running.

It got to the point where it wouldn't start on the first crank. So I just turned the key to "ON" without cranking and let the fuel pump prime (about 3-5 sec) until it stopped, then back to "OFF" 2 or 3 times before turning it to "START". It would then fire right off. Unfortunately, I had to change the whole fuel pump to fix the issue. Food for thought...

My 2015 started taking longer to crank when cool a few weeks ago. I have 5.7 with 31K miles. When that happened to my Silverado the dealer said it was the change from summer to winter blend gas. Maybe with the RAM it's the change from winter to summer ;)
