My 2012 with the 5.7 HEMI is having some issues.
Symptoms: - The engine will crank, but won't turn over, and the key will get stuck in the Start position until I turn it myself.
- It does two things when it finally starts, it either bogs down after a couple of seconds no matter what I try. Or it will finally start up, but then has a rough idle.
Its throwing no codes, battery, alternator, and starter were all tested , and all passed.
The ICM was my first thought, but any time I've dealt with that on other vehicles, it throws a code.
I'm new to this whole ETC thing, as any truck I've had before this has always had the throttle cable. And to my understanding, there are a lot of things that could trigger the ETC to malfunction..
Has anybody ever dealt with this same problem and found the solution? Or would anybody have a good idea of where I could start? Any help is appreciated.
