I am new to the page and I'm having a big issue with my 2004 dodge ram 4x4 with a 6 inch lift. My steering has gotten really tight and almost sounds like a rubbing noise when steering. It's not the power steering pump. Not sure what the problem is. Anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to RamForum. Sorry you are having a problem with your truck. Sounds like the steering is binding up and that can be caused by several components. I suspect, but am not sure, that it may be the pitman arm.

Yes I am thinking so also. I bought the truck used and with the lift in place I dont think the pitman arm was replaced.
