steering problems......again

My 2500 is having a similar problem. VERY loose wheel. I'm not equipped to do this kind of work myself. Can a normal mechanic do this? Or should I take it to the( *gasp*) dealer?

I did mine with a sears crafts man 205 piece tool set in my driveway and a jack. So I'd avoid stealer ships. If you need ball joints I highly recommend doing them yourself with a ball joint puller set from orileys auto parts. You can rent it for like 60 bucks and get a full refund when u bring it back. Shops ccharge out the ying yang for ball joints. I did mine last year with a sledge hammer and torch lol ssaved about $1000 bucks easy lol. Tire world quoted me 2000 some ot dollars to do my ball joints and alignment

It does look like it's leaning on the drivers side. Time for springs?

Those shocks should last you awhile.

They even came with legs. HAHA

No the springs are good. The shocks are rusted and full of holes. I'll prolly replace the rear leaf springs tho. Cause their ruined from when I used to haul scrap and haul cedar

Oh I thought you already changed the shocks.
Hopefully that will fix that.

OK so it is really hard to get my shocks off I'm afraid I'll snap s bolt. Any advice?

I always soak mine with PB Blaster the night before I work on it.
Once you get it to move, work it back and forth to clean out the threads.
