Steering wheel airbag control module question

My airbag light is on. The dealer said that there is a module that controls the steering wheel airbag and that it needs to be replaced. $700.00. I thought there was only one airbag control module. Does anyone know about a separate module for the steering wheel airbag alone?

Are they meaning your clock spring?

It’s the clockspring, which is also called the SCCM-Steering Column Control Module.

Well, I looked on the net and that's what I found, but it's not hard to steer and all the controls on the wheel work. I guess it must be the clockspring. Thanks guys.
