Steering Wheel and Sensors

Ok. Searched and did not find anything.

2025 5th Gen Ram 1500 Limited HO six!!

I want to place a cover on my steering wheel to protect it and make it last longer.

I have SELF DRIVING/HANDS OFF DRIVING that have sensors in the steering wheel to make this happen safely.

If I cover this wheel, will this interfere with the sensors in the wheel? Will they work or not?

I think you answered your own question. Self driving hands off will be the death of thousands if not millions IMO.

Just look at the number of RED light runners! Here in SC, when they see yellow, they think that means hurry up before the light turns red! I watched 2 cars yesterday, enter the intersection, 5 seconds or so after the light turned red! Between that, cell phones and distracted driving, and the fact that drivers licenses are again being given away in Cracker Jack boxes, people are getting injured and killed!
