Trying to pinch some pennies so got into a Tradesman 2013 Ram 1500. I'm going to be replacing the factory radio with an aftermarket radio. Is there any way to install steering wheel audio controls with an aftermarket radio? So far, my research has told me no. Thoughts?

They still have to be able to tie into the bus. If you already had them an adapter box would allow them to work with an aftermarket head unit,

Install the factory controls ....
- DIY: 2013-2016 OEM Steering Wheel Audio Control Install

Then look for an aftermarket interface adapter from PAC, Crux, idatalink, etc
