does anyone know if the bolt holding the steering wheel on a 2012 is metric and is the two holes for the puller are those metric bolts or standard thread bolts I only ask because I found a wheel in a salvage yard I have to go take it off want to bring the tools I need. Thanks

Be careful with the clock spring. You need that to control the functions on the steering wheel. I suggest watch videos on removal, can be expensive to buy a new spring. Also, watch the airbag if vehicle still has battery in it. Good luck.

The bolts should all be metric. I have removed several of the steering wheels from these trucks without a puller. I just grab them and pull forcefully from side to side and they have always popped off. It's definitely advisable to have a puller in case it won't come off but you may not need it.

I'm much more familiar with the 13 up but I'm pretty sure the 2012 steering wheel was a one year only. Kind of a transition to the 2013 up trucks but I'm no 100% sure.
