Hi all,

First post to the forum here. I have a 2009 ram 1500 Laramie with uconnect stereo/nav. Recently I was driving and all of a sudden the whole screen froze then reset. Now, every 45 seconds it will freeze and reset. So I have no stereo no Bluetooth no navigation and no backup camera. I took it to the dealer and they want $2300 to replace the unit.
Basically I'm wondering if anyone on here has encountered this in their truck or maybe someone has a way of fixing the problem.

Thanks

Remove the unit, let it sit unplugged for a few minutes.
Plug it back in.

No idea if it'll work, but maybe it will.

^^^^good advice right there maybe just a hard reboot will do it. Just heads up for 2300 bucks you can get the baddest aftermarket double din out there and it still won't add up to that.

^^^^^ also good advice... do not buy a replacement from the dealership!! You can replace the radio and all the speakers for less than what they are charging.

Sounds like it might be bricked or the hard drive may have gone south.

Hope you tried the options above because they do work most of the time.

Let us know what happened.
