Installed new axle and new seal. And yet it still leaks. Any ideas why that would be? I was very gentle with the seal to not damage it.

I just went to look at it again. This time up close and personal, there’s tiny cracks. Not sure how they formed. Maybe because is was super cold that day I changed it. Was like -32°C / -25°F. (Don’t think I seen those cracks after installing, but I can’t remember)
Well I’m gonna have to change out the seal again. Question: can I remove axle and reuse it? Hope it doesn’t damage during removal. I just hammered the old one out. I presume I can do the same to this one?

Looks like a cheap aftermarket seal, never seen an OEM crack like that. Make sure you lube it, just rubing a bit on with your finger before reinstalling the axle.
