I have been watching the forum for a long time, but had to sign up for this thread...

I just bought a 1984 Dodge Ram Prospector, with a nearly perfect body. Good interior, and only 120K miles. It was a farm truck that got parked 15 years ago. It's in great shape, and has zero rust!

I built a Ram Charger a few years back in Alaska, and plan on building this truck. Parts seem to be hard to find. (Where the heck is LMC on this one?!) But with a shop available, and a LOT of friends in the automotive industry, (tow truck driver) I plan on bringing this one back to life.

I will have the truck at the house in the morning and will get some pictures up. I will start a build thread for it. I am impatient, so it will probably move along pretty quick. In the meantime, here is a pic of my Ram Charger. (Still kicking myself for selling that!)



I love the look of the 1st gens. Especially the one in Gamer, looks a lot better than the F100 in The Expendables. (EDIT: All I drive are Fords, nothing against Ford!) (EDIT again: Sorry, Gamer had a Chevy, not a Dodge. Oops!)

I love my 1st gen ram. Original paint with very little rust. It looks gray in this pick but it is really black.

what did you do to get your truck so low? I want to lower mine but don't really know that I want to cut coils or anything

The front is B100 van lower control arms, dakota spindle swap, & HD 8cyc coils. The rear has just been flipped to other side of leafs. the bed does have a few hundred lbs of parts in it right now. I think I will end up putting a set of coil overs on it and 4 linking the rear before long.
