Great! What should I upgrade? Just Speakers? Don't mean to hijack thread but didn't want to start another!

I went with infinity 6x9s in the front and rear doors plus infinity dash speakers. It was such a worthy upgrade. I was planning to do a small sub but after swapping out the stock speakers I don’t think it’s necessary anymore.

care to share part numbers or did you just go through Crutchfield? Didn’t know if you had to use adapters and pnp harness

How much did this upgrade run you? did you have it installed too?

I Did the kicker upgrade in the doors and dash. I Added an amp, LOC and 10” kicker sub. And I Swapped the RA2 for the RA4.
May switch to 2 12” subs and add a key to the front.

I’ll have to go back and look at my amazon history but I think for the four door speakers and the two dash speakers was just under 200$ I did the install myself with the wiring adapters. Here are the dash speakers and adapters. Can’t find the door speakers but they were the infinity reference series. If I had to do it again I’d find a shallower 6x9 for the front doors. The infinity’s are a tight fit

so wrong, there are numerous replacement 6x9 speakers. i have focal and jl audio so theres 2 to start with
Multiple options cont.: I didn't like the focal expert series so ...I landed with referencev3032 in dash left and right, deleted center, and perfect 600 in the doors. Kicker ks 6x9 in back door,, 2 p3 12s that are all just over the top.. i love it.. ears ringing lol....Infinity component 6x9s are available also. Pick your price, reference, kappa, perfect...i have the perfect 600. And they are amazing when fed the power they want. Pick based on spl, frequency response db rating. Higher us louder with less power. eg a 93db will scream compared to a 90 db

They are the ref-9623ix series

they won’t rattle anything loose but enough to vibrate the rear view mirror. Really make a massive difference over the base model stock system. And all plug and play

I went with Pioneer 6x9s on all four doors and Kicker on the dash. The sound over stock is much better but the Pioneers put out a lot of bass and the front doors rattle like crazy. I have to set the bass at the half way point to still get a decent amount of bass with no noticeable rattles. The Pioneers required no spacers I think they were their entry level G series. I will probably get a loaded sub like the Kicker hideaway later. I can raise the volume to 32 and not hear distortion which is partly due to the high sensitivity of the speakers.

I've had pioneer 6 x 9s in place of my stock for a year now. No other changes. VAST improvement for small money over stock. 25 is plenty loud for my ears though!

i second the Infinity 9623s. also put infinity 3032CFXs in the dash. you will need to add a resistor to them due to the different ohmage from the factory dash speakers. i also added Kilmat sound deadning to the doors. world of difference and no annoying rattles.
