Every vehicle I've had my first move is to upgrade the stock sound system. The 8.4" radio and 6 speaker system sounds pretty decent but just lacking in some places. As of now I really don't want to dig into wire harnesses to add an Amp.
Does anyone have suggestions for door and dash speaker upgrades that
1.) sound good
2.) don't require major wattage from amps to sound good

I have 6x9 to 5.5/6.25 speaker adapters from my last truck so any speaker size is acceptable.

Best is to go to stores, listen to as many as you can, and let your ears and wallet decide.
Most retailers will also let you know what fits.

you really only have 3-4 options of replacement speakers (6x9) that'll actually fit the front doors... all are an improvement over stock.

I went with infinity 6x9s in the front and rear doors plus infinity dash speakers. It was such a worthy upgrade. I was planning to do a small sub but after swapping out the stock speakers I don’t think it’s necessary anymore.

The Kicker Hideaway does make a difference on the low end. I have mine behind the back seat and the included wiring harnesses is long enough to reach. They just released a newer version with slightly more power.

I’ve been wanting the 10 inch kicker hideaway since they released it. I still may go that route later on if I have the spare cash laying around but just the infinity door/dash swap made a massive difference. How hard was your hideaway to install? Or did you have it done?

Taking the trim out to run the wires to the front was the most time consuming. I made it harder than I needed to, extended the speaker inputs and the remote turn on to reach the radio and the power outlet in the center console. You can get to the rear speaker wires in the B-pillars where they enter the door. I put a hole in the clutch hole plate to run the power wire to the battery. The 8" Hideaway wedges nicely behind the passenger side, sitting on the floor(it doesn't move) and the fold flat floor clears also.

Mopar kicker speakers, kenwood simple double din with built in amp, and a kenwood ksw11c powered sub under the seat. About 500-600 in parts sounds awesome.

the HS10 will plug right into your HS8 harness.

Are you guys all running the factory stereo or the Alpine system? I have a 2015 Sport with factory system that I would like to do a speaker upgrade also.

thats a fairly larger integration. You have to get 2 ohm speakers, and or remove everything the Alpine has
