Looking for an alternative to the stock antenna on my Limited. Does the stock antenna pick up Sirius too, or is it just radio? Listen primarily to satellite, so don't really care if one of the stubby antennas doesn't perform well as I've read for fm/am. Any other alternatives?

Thanks!

Satellite uses a separate antenna usually mounted on the rear of the roof (if factory).

I have a stubby installed. It's not that bad for reception, really. Unless I'm out in a really rural area. Gives the truck a nicer look, I feel.

That does look great! I'm happy to hear it won't mess up the satellite radio reception. Thanks.

I tried a stubby and didnt like it. Reception went down and my wind noise went up.

I use a Craven Speed stubby. Reception isn't bad unless you are in a tunnel.

Stubby was horrible for me in a very urban area. I ended up getting some carbon fiber one off amazon that works 10x better than the stubby.

Great thought... Can you send a link? Photos? Thanks!

That link seems to be for Toyota trucks, was it a straight fit for your RAM or did you have to make alterations?

It worked, that was the one I pulled from my Amazon order. It comes with different threaded posts just have to find that one for our truck. About a 2 minute install

I put a rubber 10 inch on mine, 9 bucks at Walmart. Works about 90% of the stock whip. Got tired of taking it off for wash.
