So this weekend I was visiting some family - they live off a 5mi dirt road - it was raining all weekend until sunday morning (3 days of sloppy dirt roads).

So before I headed home I decided to just do a quick rinse to get the majority of the dirt road off.

Unfortunately they are on a well and the water is full of minerals...so needless to say (since I didn't wash - just a little "rain" was my intent) the truck looks like its been up north and is covered in road salt - that's how bad the waterspots look. they are so bad they are even on the windshield and washer fluid didn't clear it up (one spot of the body where I did a quick "spot wash" seemed to clear them right up).

The truck is garage kept, and was clayed and then topped with mequires M21 sealant about 6 months ago.

I got home too late to wash it - is it ok if it sits in the garage till this friday (5 days) until it is washed? Should I take it through a touch-less carwash until I can give it a proper cleaning?

help very much appreciated.

Unless you have your clearcoat completely worn off, it'll be fine.
I grew up on a farm where we had the same problem with the well water... it would leave streaks and mineral "deposits" when it was left to dry. But we usually just let it sit out in the rain afterwards and have it get rinsed off.
I'd be more worried about the concrete in the garage, to be honest. Your truck is going to be just fine.

Nice to hear - I'm slightly paranoid due to it being the first new vehicle I've purchased (always saved and bought used).

So Ok to sit in the garage till friday when I can wash?
