Hey everyone,
So I have had the tick for a little while now, just recently i got a p302 code. Started with the plugs and coils, cleared the code, and now the code is gone....... except..... now I get a code that randomly pops up when accelerating.
Accompanying this code is a loss of power and rough running for a couple minutes (I mean really rough).
Under normal, very easy acceleration, there is what sounds like a slight pinging, or maybe what sounds like a metallic sliding. It's real quick and slight, but I can feel a slight hesitation in the power.
I have my suspicions that I will be changing my lifters and cam, but I was hoping to pick every ones brains and see if anyone has any other theories.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated
