Sub install questions

So I've done quite a few sub installs over the years, but as I understand it these trucks have issues with the normal plug and play of adding a sub. I have the Alpine system, so I have to sum all the signals and run them through a signal processor, correct?

I had thought someone on here was working on a plug and play wiring setup? I tried to search for it but couldn't dig it up... If so I'd be first in line for that.

I know this subject has been beat to death here, and I'm fairly sure I know what I need, but I want to double check and make sure I'm not jumping the gun and possibly missing a plug and play system.

If just installing the sub/sub amp, you can tap in to the sub wires of your factory Alpine sub.

Where is the factory sub on the single cabs? There isn't one under either seat or behind them.

Im guessing that the factory alpine amp is going to be under the driver dash. That's where Chrylser likes to put them. That is where I would start. Some channels will be bandwidth limited so I would probably go with the Front speaker or maybe the rear. Going for the sub output ive heard attenuates with louder volumes, sooooo youd just have to test that one out.

Can anyone confirm that there's a plug and play system on the way. I swear someone on here was talking about it.
