Yea I kept my factory amp and factory sub.. but I added an additional amp and subwoofer. I was able to grab my positive and negative off the JL audio amp.

Could i run LOC with basic system? Taking my truck in soon, and all stereo shops says LOC will not work on these trucks.

You need to buy an LC2i from crutchfield or Amazon... works like a charm

Convert, for now.

Or use an amp that will accept speaker level input.
No LOC needed.

I am not familiar with that type of product you are using. It does not look like something I would use.. anyway, here is a link AudioControl LC2i 2 Channel Line Out Converter Wwith AccuBASS and Subwoofer Control https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IIL0LW0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_oHCMFbAX249SS

Here is a link to it, its just a basic LOC

My appointment is friday, im guessing you would recommend i next day air it so i can have it installed friday?

I mean you can try what you already have, if it doesn’t work you can always get a Lc2i later. Specially if you are bringing it to a stereo shop they may already have one.

Yeah, cause the wires will already be ran, so it’s be an easy swap.

exactly, if you don’t mind how much are they charging you to run the wires? I’m thinking about making a YouTube video on how I spliced mine so people can do it themselves

Used them before, highly rated, and usually do good work

https://www.yelp.com/biz/united-car-stereo-dublin

Just concerns me that they are telling me i NEED the CH-41 and LOC wont work...

naw a loc will work.. I spliced mine out of the inner door panel between the two doors. Ran the wires to my loc end it works like a charm.

however, the easiest and best way to run your new amp and stereo is with a PAC AmpPRO

i tried that, it requires a speaker amp as well. According to the instructions. Amp-pro seems to be geared toward amplified systems...

Yes, i bought that and installed myself, and didnt work, were you talking about something else?

It requires a separate amp for speakers, unless you have factory amplifier.

No, the amp pro cost to much, you can get the same sound from the Lc2i. My personal opinion.
