Hey all! My name is Michael, I just signed up! I have a 2005 dodge ram quad cab, 4.7 4x4. I am looking to put subs in her. I have a box right now for 2x10's, but I will be getting a fox vented box for 12's. I am in the market for some sort of really hard hitting subs. I was on down4sound and found a few packages that seem to fit. But, I don't know what the best option would be.

Does anyone have any recommendation on what subs sound the best in the truck? I want it to be hitting really hard when I want. Like shake the truck.

Thanks in advance!

Couple questions.

What's box depth?

What's budget?
What amp you using?

The air space available will be your limiting factor. I think a sealed enclosure will give you better output given that restriction. As far as prefab boxes the net audio tall box is better built than the fox and has more airspace so worth looking at if you haven't already ordered the fox. For big bass output sundown audio SA12 is a good choice and matches the netaudio dual 12 tall box perfectly on airspace spec. For sealed. Grab a 1500rms amp to run the pair and I doubt there are much louder options without removing the rear seat.
