I have a K&N drop in. No issues with dusting downstream of the filter. Acceleration is just a tad better than stock by the butt dyno and not seeing a mileage increase but not too concerned about that.

I've used AFE and Airaid drop ins (non-oiled) in some of my past trucks and saw no difference at all from stock.

Nice to be able the clean and reuse no matter which way you go.

I also have a K&N drop in air filter. Didn't want to spend all that money on a CAI.
