Ok, I am starting this to keep from jacking another thread. haha.

Im looking to put some sort of a sunroof in my SC pickup. I know this is a crazy idea. I also realize that there is not any room for the roof to slide back. My thought is to simply have some sort of pop off sunroof. Like the T-Tops in the days of old. Except it would be one big piece the size of a normal sunroof. So essentially an O roof. I could pop it off on a sunny day, throw it behind the seats, and enjoy. I park it inside a garage, so the possibility of leaks, scares me a lot less than normal. And if its sealed up properly, I shouldnt have to worry at all.

Really, all I need is just a way to secure the piece of glass to the roof and Im solid. Im sure I can buy the glass and mount for the roof somewhere.

If anybody has any info/advise on this, or knows of a shop that already offers this kind of option, I would really, really appreciate it!!

Thanks yall!!

There are a couple shops here in Houston that have done a ton of sunroof installs on the local trucks. I can try to dig up the names, but I have seen 5 or 6 of them in person, and the quality of work is very nice.

Thanks brother!

I feel like this truck is a little bit yours with all the help and advise you have given me! Haha.

I dont mind making a trip down to Houston town. I have family down that way. I just have to find a couple days to make it happen.

Let me know!

Wow, I guess thats an option too. I didnt realize that they operated that way. Thanks for the pic man!

I still think it would be cooler for me to do it the other way though. Seems like I could do a bigger opening then. But at least I know if all else fails, I have a last resort option that still gets me there.

Thanks again!
