On the first picture I measured between the original bolt and the new bolts, 3 and 1/2 inches. This is a 2016 1500 diesel Outdoorsman, 285 75 18 tires. I tow a 26 ft RV, I'm thinking that the springs were replaced with the lift and have more load capability but I'm not really sure whether this is a 4-in lift or a 6-in lift, leaning towards six based on what I can find. Fronts shocks are Bilstein 24-187367 and the backs are 33-185569. I tow it maybe every month or two is all all, I also have a flatbed that I tow my tractor with maybe once a year... Thanks for any input!

What's the question? How much lift you have?

Need a closer picture of the spindles and we need to see how many grooves are showing on the bottom of those struts as they are adjustable height. (Picture looking up under the lower spring perch. You will see a chrome snap ring and some grooves) If you see no grooves they are set for stock height.

Are there spacers on top of the strut too?

Looks like a 4" from what I can see so far.

Those Bilsteins should have your factory coils on them too. Mind taking a picture of the rear setup? It is possible the rear springs were changed to get the lift back there.

Ignore the year, they are the same for 2016.

I'll compare the pics and see if I can figure it out. Looks like the 6in kit includes a couple extra brackets but they aren't listed there. Might have to dig into the instructions and find part numbers.

Okay I figured it out, need one more picture.

Does your truck have a rear control arm drop bracket?

The 6in kit does. The 4in kit does not.

4in it is then!

No idea how to tell if the rear springs are any stiffer than the stock ones. Something about them is different to get the rear level with the front though.

Sharp looking truck by the way!

Thanks again! I just got a steel on it I think, 100K miles 17k as it sits with brand new rubber and everything else... Well taken care of.
Happy to help! I think that is a great deal, looks really clean underneath too!

Sorry I don't know how to help with your helper spring or helper bag question. I am sure you could add some bags or use a WDH hitch, the 4in lift might cause a bit on a headache making sure stuff will be compatible.

Lots of guys with more knowledge than me on that subject.

Might want to start a new thread asking only that question and mentioning that you have a 4in superlift kit.
