Can I swap dash straight across for a 2013 Ram sport into a 2016 Ram SLT?

Yes you can. The 2013 cluster is a little different than the 14 up cluster as it doesn't show front park assist which I know you mostly don't have anyway. The 13 to 15 can only show a boot up screen with the ram emblem. Since your truck is a 16 it's Programmed to show a different boot up screen. There are a few other minor differences as well that would take to long to explain. Long story short yes the 13 should work but the 16 to 17 is preferred. For your truck.
