Ok...I tried researching this topic before asking but wasn't able to find anything so here goes.

I have a 2012 reg cab hemi ...

I see myself more of a hot rod guy so it crossed my mind to in addition to getting my truck lowered, to also swap my wheels from 20's to 17s.
I'm not sure if it's the most popular thing to do but I'm just curious and would like to see pics from guys that might have this setup.
Also, is it feasible? doable?
I appreciate all your input and opinions.

Lol @ commission-
No he’s not, Moes is a “ Prefered vendor” on this site and a lot of people on this site buy from them Mainly due to their knowledge and customer service.
It’s going to be tuff to find a lowered ram with 17”s to reference as it’s not very common. At this point google would be your best bet. I my self am a big fan of the hell cat take offs on a lowered ram. Looks Awesome!

One idea could be going with a 17" rim and a big fat street drag tire on the rear and a matching skinny front. You get a bunch of challenges to stop light "drag race"...lol
Going with a 17" rim is more of a personal preference on the look you want, some people like a taller sidewall. In my opinion, going with a low profile tire on a small rim with lots of empty wheel well looks funny.

This was really a simple question but of course some of you have to blow it out of proportion.....
It's cool...I love the truck as is but again I also love Hot Rods which apparently is a bad word here I guess..

It crossed my mind today the Challenger/ Charger 18" rims....have they been used?

My only question about that would concern the load ratings...is it safe to put car wheels on a truck? Granted, the Chally and Charger are both big girls, but still!

That’s a good question.

My '14 Express came with and calls for 10 Ply LT265X70RX17 tires and I have thought about going to 20's a couple of times but
1. 17" are cheaper
2. Guessing I would have to change something to re-calibrate the speedometer

So both times, I have decided to stay with my 17" wheels, tho I like the looks of the 20's.
