I beat my sway bar connections up 3 times from taking my truck offroading, are they really necessary? Or does anyone know if they make some for A arms for the desert? 20140126_153315.jpg

I have removed mine all together. I have driven without one for years. However, I have a 4x4 with my torsion cranked so my front suspension is a bit stiffer than stock. Take it off and see how your truck handles. If you think it has too much body roll for your liking, then replace it.

Removing your front sway bar on a vehicle driven on the road is a terrible idea.
It could very well end up under a nasty liability law suit as well.

You sway bar, especially the front is essential to emergency maneuverability.
Sure, day to day it might be just fine, but that's not when you need it.

You can buy aftermarket (heavy duty) sway bar end links.
You may also consider removing them before horse beating it offroad, and then reinstalling afterwards.

I had the same problem, so I just removed the sway bar entirely haha. Yeah it obviously has more body roll but Im used to it. I can still make really quick movements at higher speeds with no problem. Yeah it rolls a lot more but I can handle it. I dont think I could ever find any quick disconnect ones for our trucks but those would be nice. These take to long to remove
