Was curious as to if anyone has bought the diode dynamics board through retroshop and did the ibstall themselves from start to finish. I also wanted to know what the best means of securing the boards into the housing once you have it all apart, I have seen everywhere they just use small cable twist ties. Is the twist tie method ok? It seems kind of flimsy.

I used the stock screws in the TYC headlights. I think the RAM ones are riveted in. Just go to your local hardware store and grab some short machined screws, nuts and some small washers. I'm sure a 16 pack would be enough for both sides. If you feel the need to add some adhesive to the nuts, it wouldn't hurt. Very sturdy, lays flat. Couldn't cost more than $3 for piece of mind.
