So I'm finally ready to own up to my mistake, I should've saved my money and done the Bils from the start. While the ride is great, I only gained a measily 1.5" with the Ranchos and that's just not cutting it. So here's my dilemma, in the process of installing the QLL's I managed to overtorque one of the top strut mount bolts and snapped it off. :Stupid Me: I paid a shop to dismantle one of my stock strut assemblies and swap the OEM strut mount over to the Rancho. So now I've only got one good OEM strut assembly left and I'm assuming that swapping the Bilsteins into my Rancho assemblies is not doable. So what are my options? I looked around on the classfieds and ebay, all I could find were aftermarket replacement assemblies including the struts for around $175/pair. I suppose that's not the end of the world but I was hoping to find a cheaper solution, especially since I really only need 1 without a strut. If I am to find one used, what years are compatible with my 13? Also, should I be worried about using 2 different springs (different model years, different mileage, etc? TIA

Unless I'm misunderstanding something here, why not just remove the oem mount that you used on the Rancho and use it on the Bilstein? I'm assuming you still have the rest of the components?

Edit: if you don't want to do that, then you can just buy the upper strut mount separately.

I (stupidly) let the shop pitch the rest of the assembly.

Ah ****, I'm not sure then. I'm not too familiar with the Ranchos, but I'm sure someone else will chime in.
