Yes it is a replacement fluid for the ZF, I looked up the spec before I found that. The starting spec spec was key, and yes Dave confirmed it. Now, this is not the right fluid for that funky transfer case I think 2014 or whatever, but this Redine d6 can be used in the zf8 tranny. Email Dave if you need verification.

When I was at the ram dealer today I had to wait on the parts guy and got to gander around a bit. They had a ton of BG chemicals and fluids on the shelf. Kind of surprised me as they are supposed to be pushing Mopar and Pennzoil.

The d6 and ZF fluids were also designed for "fuel" efficiency, so they have low starting visc that stays stable throughout it's life. And Shawn was the guinea pig that just ran an atf that had a normal visc I believe. So d6 is a no brainer, but maybe even atf will work fine just as it does with us and the mds and 30 weights we use. Look up shawn's eco diesel channel.

I saw a BG company van leaving my ram dealer months ago.

Yeah, they had all kinds of BG stuff, gear oil, transfer case fluid, + different additives, can't remember all the stuff. I know they only had a little bit of Mopar gear oil and transfer case fluid on the shelf, then they had a whole section from the floor to maybe 7 ft tall of BG.

I know up the street at the ford dealer when you walk in the service dept like a customer they have signs up advertising BG additives as an extra to you're oil change.

My tech has the BG "system cart" Every two years he services my 03 5.7 and GN using the BG products. Now, it does make a difference. But I only know the BG product. Would be interested in your thoughts

I've always heard it was pretty good stuff although I've never used any myself.

Unless it goes through the vac lines how can that clean the throttle body? I need to see the instructions on the can. Do they manually clean it, then it likely will work. A better way to keep that clean is get a catch can.

I've been installing this while arguing with you fools lol. If anyone has a cargo trailer, toy hauler, etc, I highly recommend this "add-a-wall". Made in Colorado. Allows you to sit inside with the ramp open and drink beer without bugs getting in. Hard to tell in the pics but flaps roll up for screens or down for privacy. Unzips in the middle for walking through and whole thing rolls up and secures to ceiling when needed.

Throttle body cleaning. Unless it has PEA, I don't think much of it at cleaning fuel intake. Solvents are not very good at that, detergents are.
