I believe their only blend product is Pennzoil gold which is dexos gen 3, and the bottle doesn't have dexos = max pro. Regardless, I wouldn't use it in my lawn mower. For the price they sell that anywhere, you can get a full synthetic much better option. I don't know if it is even a blend or straight group 2, but it is way overpriced garbage. WE gonna start discussing dollar store oil next?

5w30 Engine Oil - Mopar (50022689AA) is PP dexos from mopar

Chrysler recommends only synthetic oil and "Mopar" oil is now pp with dexos sign as you can see from Mopar. They aren't even trying to hide it, they are selling pp straight from Mopar e store. I didn't even see max pro offered from Mopar e store.

Need some advice from the brotherhood. I am thinking about caving and letting the wife get a USED lexus rx 350 the suv, middling price range 20-25k. My info is they are pretty solid, non di turbo v6 8 speed with a dip stick, year 2018 first choice might consider a 2015. Any advice welcome, are these good cars?

Nope not selling the rav 4, it will be back up car.

One of the most historically reliable and desirable vehicles in its class. Don't think you could go wrong with 1. I would suggest a CPO vehicle with warranty. Typical Lexus owner is very good at following the maintenance schedule at the dealer. Good luck.

2018 or 2020 were some of their best years - lowest mileage is usually a good thing.
Earlier models had oil leak issues.
As long as its been maintained well, it'll serve Wifey well.

I think I like the idea of the v6 as well, but I don't know about the engine. Lil more research to be done. Wife coming home from work, sees a BMW 2017 on the side of the road, x1 or something like that, I tried to explain to her about di turbo and locked 8 speed, then I see the glaze look and the comment of how she doesn't want to hear it, she says, just tell me what car I can buy I don't want to hear the details, lol. He first choice was a Lexus 350 but I don't have the juice for a new one. She somehow became ok with used after seeing that bmw, and after looking these things aren't half bad, and that's saying something from me. I think it will be better then the BMW all the way around.

With either vehicle, especially the BMW, I would suggest getting a CPO 1 with a warranty. If anyone thinks RAM dealers are expensive no comparison to a BMW dealer.

Agreed on being a better vehicle overall vs a BMW.

fellas, I wont buy a di ever so thanks but we are safe from that, lol. funny how great vehicles are a little harder to find on the used market as well. we could barely find a rav 4 when I was looking, the most popular vehicle for our time, and people hold on to them. BMW for sale all over the place.

Just think about how quick the germans gave up a 1/2 century of excellence. Now the Japanese auto's head and shoulders above them, although probably not for long as they are caving as well. Even Mercedes v8's have turboi's, even their electric cars have turbo's which I don't understand or care too. Funny how euro became more authoritarian the Japan when it comes to vehicle manu, never would have figured that.

@Burla Edmunds seems to like it. Some reviewers said the 8 speed transmission shifting hunts.
