tear down center console

Has anyone torn the center console apart? If so, How hard to get the cigarette lighter out? The one that faces the back seat? fuses are good and cant get it to work. Hoping something just shook loose

I believe you are talking about the 12v power supply.

Its not hard. When you pull the back panel off (just pull) it will be hanging in there and you can check the communication. If your trying to use it to light a traditional lighter it wont work, but it should get power for chargers and such. U have taken mine off a few times when mounting/unmounting/attempting to remount my holster...

That "power Supply" just pops out.
glad it was easy and I didn't break that panel.

I took out the 12v "Power source"...and put in a cigarette lighter. I have a little l.e.d flashlight ( about1.5 inches long)that I keep plugged in..and while its charging (Key on) there's a red led night light on it...with the power source plug it wouldn't stay in...with the lighter plug it does..easy to replace..as stated just pull the back off..no screws holding it in,just tabs
