I have been interested in leveling my truck out for the past few months. However, after doing a fair bit of research, it seems that there are a lot of people / mechanics that say leveling kits are horrible for a truck. Something along the lines of "changing to geometry of the front end", increased unnatural stress on the front end causing premature damage that will NOT be covered under warranty, etc. So, to those who have leveled out their trucks, what say you? Any mechanics or similar professionals have an opinion?

Good to go up to 2.1" or so. Hit or miss with ball joint issues and cv vibes at 2.5" and higher

I think the biggest problem with leveling is with the spacer kits, especially on the 13+ trucks. I have Rancho QLLs on my truck and looking at the front suspension after they were installed, nothing appears overextended or anything. My mechanic did the alignment and said he was glad to see I didn't use spacers.
If you're going to level, stick with Bilsteins or Ranchos and you should be fine.

A lot of it is BS. There IS an issue with old style level kits on 2013-newer 4x4s that is easily addressed by using the proper kit. I used the new MaxTrac 2 piece kit that relieves the ball joint stress by putting an inch spacer on the bottom and 1.5 on the top. In this case, you are not changing the geometry at all.

So I have a 2013 Sport 4x4. What would you guys recommend for a leveling kit? I just want the front to match the stock height in the back.

I highly recommend the MaxTrac kit. The 2.5 inch level brought the front up to within an inch of the rear and kept stock capabilities and ride.

Bilsteins at 2.1", Rancho QLL, MaxTrac, all good, safe choices that do exactly what you're looiking for. I've owned the Bills and the Ranchos, I prefer the ride and height of the Bills.

So what do you guys think of Air Ride Adjustible Links?

I have a 14 Limited with the air ride. It has the 3" PA body lift on it but I didn't like the rake, so I just out the air ride adjustable links on to raise the front about 1.25".

All seems good, but I'm thinking I may need to realign the front, I would think there has to be a slight increase in toe in.
