First I was thinking about just leveling out the front with a daystar leveling kit, but I just found this Rough Country leveling kit that will bring up the rear as well. Front raises 2.5" and rear 1.75". I have a 14' 1500 2wd quad. Anyone use this kit before? It says will not fir on the 14' air suspension models, which I believe I don't have.

I've heard it many times that I should stick with polyurethane since it's more quite than metal. Any thoughts on that?

Given my past experiences with their Jeep products, I wouldn't touch anything rough country sells with a ten foot pole. Simple spacers may be ok, but their springs are pure crap.

I have had nothing but rough country, they make great kits. But yes their shocks and springs suck. The 5" lift I had on my chevy was a very well designed kit and fit like a glove. And believe it or not they will stand behind their products, even their ****** shocks.

No. No they will not. I had one of their crappy springs bend on my jeep on the first wheeling trip out after installing. They said they would gladly sell me a replacement spring for their poor quality control. Over the three years I had their junk on my Jeep, I bent several front leaf springs, had center leaves from the rear packs crack in half and shoot out from under it, they sagged like crazy. Best day of my life was the day I ripped it all off and put Rubicon Express springs under my Jeep. Since then I have wheeled it harder than I ever did with the rc stuff under it and I have never had a single issue with the Rubicon springs. They also ride a thousand times better. After my experiences with them I will never purchase or recommend their products ever again.

I'm sorry you had a poor experience with them. But from what I understand they are a completely different company now. I have heard plenty of people getting their shocks replaced for free because they crack.

Yeah I've heard that too. But I have such a bad taste in my mouth from the old rc I am just not willing to send any more money their way. Not when there are so many better products and companies out there. Not sure yet if I'm gonna lift my new Ram when I get it, it's mostly my DD and tow rig, but if I do, I'm not gonna put cheap rc parts on a 40k truck.
