Thinking of going 37s. Wirh a +12 offset. I’m looking at black rhino. I may go 18s.

For those that have done 37s. Did you take a hit on the power? Do any of you still tow wirh 37

Are they making gears yet for the 2021 power wagon? I can’t find any info on it?

I’m on 35s now. And while it’s nice. It’s just not enough.

Also if I go this route. If anyone in south Florida wants a deal on stock take offs and 35x12.50x17 nitto g2 with 6000 miles shoot me a pm

I love my 37s. The ride is comfortable and they fill out the wheel well much better than the factory tires.
See my thread HERE with good information.

I don't tow anything so I can't comment there. Coming from a tuned Duramax, the truck felt slow from the start and certainly won't win any races now either. I'm following a procharger thread to see how that works out before pulling the trigger. My understanding is that new gearing is not currently available.

Where are you watching that procharger info. I’ve been wanting one but they don’t support 2021 and after.

I'm sure it's been done before, but here is the current thread I'm watching. With gas so cheap, why not?

Mine came with 37s from the dealer so I can't comment on power comparison.
I can tell you that I've been unable to get a dealer in NoVA to recalibrate so my speedo (shows -8mph slower than I'm actually going) and gas mileage calculations are way off.

I'm pleased with the power of the 6.4 and tow a 26 ft travel trailer regularly through the mountains of the Mid-Atlantic without a problem. I did add Timbren Bump stops or look at airbags to resolve squat with the soft off-road20220511_164820 (sm).jpg suspension

I'll never go down from 37's. No real noticeable power loss and pull my dump trailer (full) just fine. I installed the AEV ProCal tuner to change the computer to 37's and had the dealer recalibrate the speedo.

I'm running them on OEM wheels too, and have not had any significant rubbing.

I think your tires will rub with +12 offset unless you are lifted.
Going to 37s myself these 33s are just way to small for these trucks and figure if Iam buying tires I might as well go to 37s.

Bought mine with 35s, and drove that way for a few months. Then went to 37s, and didn't notice much different between the 2. I did have rubbage with 37s and 6 people in cab while turning on a hill, so assume offroad it would have done the same. Since then I added Thuren 1.5" level to front and can now flex er out pretty good.

Clocked 3000 miles towing a full loaded 16' enclosed trailer and it towed fine. MPG where a bit low, but again it was fairly heavy wind sail back there. Right now I'm avg 14.6mpg, and see 16 on the highways round here at 65mph.

Have no regrets going to 37s, at least for me.

Very minor at full lock. If I rubbed three times in two years it's a lot. I use this truck as my daily driver and pull in and out of parking spaces daily with no issues.

I will say that if you intend on doing hard core off-roading, you may need to trim a bit in the fender/wheel wells. For the mild trails and minor off-roading I do, I have no problems at all.

It just helps me make the choice if I don’t have to spend money on rims thanks a ton.

I have 17x9+18s and had to do a lot of trimming. I have toyo MTs 37x13.5x17" tires. If I had bought KM3s instead, it might have req'd less trimming as the tire is a little shorter. Just my 2 cents.

I am on the stock wheels on 37" BF Goodrich KM3, They actually are 36.5 to be precise.
I just towed 2000 miles with them Last week and they did fantastic. I also did some pretty heavy wheeling and got them stuffed up pretty good in the wheel Wells, still with no rubbing. I don't rub even At full lock, Again I believe this to be that there are 36.5 and that half inch makes a big differnce it seems.

I was running KMC 18x9 +18 offset and had to do a lot of trimming. I ran Toyo AT3s. Truck rode great on road but off road any flex and the tires would hit the upper finder wells pretty good. I did the Tauren 0.5 inch lift but it was not enough I regret not going the full 1.5 inches.

37" KM3's, stock rims, no rubbing, or trimming. You feel a difference in power and breaking the first time you take it out but quickly forgotten. Speedometer is 6mph off at 55mph.

I run 37x13.50 Ridge Grapplers on 17x9 wheels with -6 offset, so about the worst case scenario. Also have Thuren 1.5" front springs. The front tires rubbed hard on the backside of the lower fenderwell at about 3/4 lock. Did the typical plastic trimming and bent the pinch weld completely over. They will also rub the front lower plastic inner fender a little at times. Have not had the chance to flex it out yet.

Pics or it didnt happen LOL

Pics or it didnt happen LOL
Well we didn't stop to take too many pics (So I guess it didn't happen lol) the pics we do have My wife took most of them I was too busy driving In a new area to me.
We were in the Badlands in the corner of Southwest Alberta The US border and British Columbia.
We were supposed to head into the East Kootenays in BC, where we usually go on Jeep trips, yet the truck is not fully outfitted with all the lights yet, so I didn't feel comfortable towing My friends off road trailer on logging roads at night Without proper lighting. So last minute we changed our plans and decided to head down to the badlands.
One day we left camp and started exploring, Lots of Baron prairie and lots of gravel mixed in with dirt roads that are flat, some of them run through ranches And Crown land. These are public roads And then you come across these beautiful green valleys, at the top, that is where we found some of the raunchy roads.
The 1st one we found was going down and the sign about Half a mile back said "road washed out" it was a dry slew at the bottom, mostly soft sand on the right side of the road, that rain had washed out and on the left of the washed out road was deep mud ruts, most likely from a tractor and Going down this soft sand road the weight of the power wagon started to eat the road away and pushed you over to the hardened deep mud ruts. With the sway bar disconnected When descending, I was pushed into the Ruts and at 1 point I looked up and I could only see sky through the passenger window. Once I was at the bottom I got out to take a look and see if there was any major rubbing, as there was allot of noise going down. All I could see on top of the inner wheel well that the tires had barley touched By the light dirt and sand scuffs from the Tire.
I did not have offroad pages on, I would have loved to have seen the angles we were at. As this road basically snuck up on us and as I was picking my line and the last thing on my mind was putting it on off road pages or taking photos for that matter.
Another time a little later on our way back to camp we were heading down 1 of the roads to get back to The Valley and there was a historic site On the navigation maps So we knew that was the direction we wanted.
I was going at least 85 To 90 km an hour (it's amazing how the 37's on such a heavy Truck, just eat up the bumps) And on that flat road, We were starting to climb ever so slightly, All of a sudden I couldn't see the horizon anymore and hit a giant Rut and launched the power wagon, at least the 2 front wheels came off the ground My wife said she hit the roof and we landed pretty hard, Needless to say I was told to slow down after lol.
The elevation in that area is amazingly high for where it is It's 5000' above sea level
The only photos and videos we have of that Day It's basically the pretty parts of The Valley and a couple of White tail deer.
My wife has some good video of us climbing up some of the hills and getting to the top of The Valley, also through some really narrow trails, in the bush (where the new PW got it's 1st Pinstripes) it's pretty cool video, when she posts it to YouTube I will edit this and post the link.
